The Women

Building something.
Raising someone.
Doing both.

Every month, Mothered profiles women who refused to choose between ambition and family: founders, physicians, artists, executives. In their own words.

Every issue adds to the record

This is what working motherhood actually looks like.

Founders. Physicians. Therapists. Financial planners. Product builders. The women featured in Mothered aren't exceptions, they're evidence. Evidence that ambition and motherhood were never opposites, and that the women living proof of it deserve to be documented, not just admired in passing.

How a profile happens

From conversation to record.

01

They find us

Working mothers reach out directly, or get nominated by someone who knows their work. We don't go looking for a brand to build around, the women who belong in Mothered tend to make themselves known.

02

We listen

Every profile starts with a long conversation. No PR reps, no approved quotes. We ask about the hard parts, the failures, the trade-offs, the things that almost broke them.

03

We publish

The profile runs in the issue and lives permanently in the archive. Their story, in their own words, becomes part of the Mothered record.
